Meaning Over Money, founded in 2020, is a partnership between Travis Shelton (financial coach) and Cole Netten (professional videographer) to create engaging video and audio content that encourages the pursuit of meaning instead of money. Through their podcast, courses, and videos, they focus on helping young adults navigate their work and finances in a healthy, fulfilling, and ultimately more meaningful way. 

We believe that there is more to life than building wealth and having more. Deep down, we believe people who are chasing money are really seeking something else. It can't be found in a bank account or through more stuff, but it can be unlocked by pursuing work that matters, creating impact on others, and redefining the role money plays in our life.

Though we talk about money and finances, it's not really about money. Money is NEVER about money! Our objective is to help people see and handle money through a different lens so they can freely and aggressively pursue a life of meaning.

For many people, our ideas and perspectives will seem lame and unsexy. For others, these ideas and practices have unlocked a lifethey never knew was possible. There's a groundswell of people (especially young adults) who have a growing desire for something different....something better.

We're not trying to tell people what to do and we can't force our ideas and perspectives on you. But when you're ready to take a different path and reject "normal", we'll be here for you. Come join the movement!
